It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter because you can invent things. But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the extraordinary. David Bailey.
This collection contains images of people and every day items looked at from a slightly different perspective. All images are available as prints in a variety of sizes and formats. My photopainting work starts with a photograph - sometimes as I take the photograph I can see in my mind how the final image will look. The fun starts when I get home and start processing the photograph, enhancing contrasts, colours and adding textures and effects to develop it into a work of art. CQ Magazine recognised my work with the award Best Photopainter 2015. All images are available in a variety of print sizes and formats and as packs of 10 and 25 greeting cards. Some images can be also be made available on a variety or interior decor items including throw pillows/cushions - contact me for more information.
